In the caption, they expressed their deep love and longing for their mother: “We can’t believe it’s been 6 years without you... We think about you every single second of the day. Kim Porter, who passed away on November 15, 2018, at the age of 47, died from lobar pneumonia, leaving behind her children with Diddy and a legacy of love and devotion. In addition to the tribute, the family recently responded to controversy surrounding a posthumous memoir, Kim’s Lost Words: A Journey for Justice From the Other Side..., which was allegedly written by Porter. The children's statement, issued alongside the controversy, dismissed the memoir as “fake” and condemned anyone exploiting their mother's memory for profit. “Claims that our mom wrote a book are simply untrue,” they said. They further clarified that any individual claiming to speak on Porter's behalf was misrepresenting her, and urged the public to respect their grieving process.
Meanwhile, Diddy has been facing legal challenges of his own. The music mogul was arrested in September 2024 in New York City on federal charges related to sex trafficking and racketeering. He has been denied bond twice and is awaiting trial.
